Max Blardone and SALOMON, unquestionably to be the winning couple in the next Olympic alpine ski season.
The Italian ski champion - #4 in GS World ranking, 4 World Cup victories, 17 times on the podium - is about to start training for Vancouver 2010 with new SALOMON equipment.
SALOMON’s equipment performance and EQUIPE 2V POWERLINE advanced ski technology are the pillars of this new partnership with Max Blardone: “I’m very pleased to return to the team with whom I established my career and got my first great results. I strongly believe in technology and SALOMON’s efforts give me all the enthusiasm I need. I know for sure that we can work together for the best, just as we did in the past, and I also know I can point out every small technical detail as well.”
Further confirmation of the technical evolution of SALOMON products and the skill of its organisation comes from Christian Frison-Roche, Salomon International Racing Manager, who says “We focus a lot on product quality. Design and technology are the most important areas of our R&D department, closely working with Overall World Cup athletes and Olympic Games winners. Great champions such as Max Blardone clearly remember all the magic moments of the past and we are very proud and happy to begin another new adventure together. He can count on our active input and our product expertise.”
